Welcome to DotaBoard. By accessing or using this website you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. About DotaBoard
DotaBoard is a personal Dota 2 statistics tracker that aggregates publicly available match data from the OpenDota and Stratz APIs. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Valve Corporation or Steam in any way.
2. Use of the Service
You may use DotaBoard solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or exploit the service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the site in bulk without prior written permission.
- Use the service to transmit any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.
- Attempt to access any account or data that does not belong to you.
3. Account Registration
DotaBoard uses Steam OpenID for authentication. By logging in you authorise us to retrieve your public Steam profile information (display name, avatar, Steam ID) and associate it with your DotaBoard account. You are responsible for keeping your session secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Match Data
Match statistics displayed on DotaBoard are sourced from OpenDota and Stratz, which parse publicly available Valve replay files. DotaBoard does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or absent for matches that have not been parsed.
5. Intellectual Property
All Dota 2 game assets, hero names, item names, and related imagery are the property of Valve Corporation and are used here under Valve's Media Usage Guidelines solely for informational and statistical purposes.
The DotaBoard codebase and original design are owned by the project author. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission.
6. Analytics and Cookies
DotaBoard uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, session data). Analytics cookies are only set after you explicitly consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You may decline at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is collected and how to withdraw consent.
7. Disclaimers
DotaBoard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on data shown on this site.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DotaBoard and its author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
